holy crap. main girl's face was re-drawn so, SO many times.

on the upside though, i discovered that white gel pens make a really nice substitute for tipex. ok, so it's a little more translucent but when it comes time to re ink that bitch, it doesn't feel like you're drawing on the surface of the moon.

ugh. that hand in the foreground is a crime against anatomy. seriously. they just don't work that way. i just tried to twist my wrist like that and it almost ended in  compound fractures.

also, have you noticed that there just aren't enough hours in the day?

huh, so apparantly backgrounds don't need to abide to the laws of perspective. or maybe the big reveal was just so big that reality itself last its shit for a moment there. anyhoo, cleaning up all those scummy pencil marks is so much easier when you start playing with the levels in photoshop.
that program is a life saver

oh lol, this has about as much depth perception as a cyclops... aaaaaaand shouty old men are still probably one of my most favorite thing to draw.

check out the alien hand going on in the left hand side of the lower panel.

guess who can't draw trucks from above?

what's with these yellow and white drawings? a while ago, erik and i wrote a jolly(!?) yarn about a not so utopian, not so distant future and reality tv gone nuts. while waiting for stuff to happen with work, i though it might be fun (and good to keep my eye in/bolster my non-existent inking skills) to do some simple illustrations for it.

darken and multiply layer tools are totally my best-ies right now.

in other news, i managed to land some freelance work (booyah!) and margaret managed to make her entire class CRY with her film project. things are good.

hmm. why do i never ever ever seem to learn that perspective works so much better when rulers get involed? there's something a wee bit funky going on in that upper right hand corner...

gah! my enviroments blow ass... even when they'e nothing more than tables and a big yellow void.
