DONE! well thank god for that. lets hope the next thing you try and do for this project doesn't take two months because other wise i've got a very bad feeling about productivity.

in other news, this week has been a pretty awesome week for getting things in the mail. first up, i got a physical copy of 'now i am twenty' by nowhere again who were super cool enough to let me do art chores on the album;

richmond clements and i did this for the good people at renegade arts roughly two years ago, but it's only just gone to print. needless to say, this is still OMGWTFBBQ levels of exciting. if you feel like snapping up a copy and pouring over richmond's super fly story about a giant millitary robot on the run (and some rather...er... oooh man, i just rediscovered the awesome combination of sticks and ink. oh yes... working to a big scale with those two is pretty nerve wracking since you can't plot a damn thing out but hey, i guess that keeps you on your toes.

OH HAI THAR!

revised versions of the cd art for 'nowhere again' wherein we bid adiue to wishy-washy water colours and shit photoshop filters.

the cases went to the printers not too long ago and i think the album's due to come out some time at the end of the month. of course, i'll be pestering you all to give it a listen because it's a damn fine record.

first crack at the album art. going to have another go at it this weekend since the red pencil and "LO, MY AWESOME POWERS OF PHOTOSHOP TEXTURES" didn't sit to well with the guys. ah well, it was a fun little experiment and got the water colours out again after about a bajillion years of gathering dust.

for the cd case. i kinda dig the idea of the swooshy one (spoiler, we didn't go with it). originally, the guy's head would going to be a scribble and the wave a ton of doodle but that had to be scrapped- turns out there's a cd cover already out there with a very motif. huzzuh for subconscious plagiarism!

ah well, i might just do that for myself sometime.... one day... maybe...

so yeah, jonny (http://www.jonnydark.com/) asked me if i'd like to some art work for the band he's rolling with. the answer to that
obviously could be nothing but a HELL TO THE YEAH! these sketchy wee sketches are back from the brain storming period.

on a side note, finally checked out http://thejaneaustenargument.bandcamp.com/album/the-birthing-pyre . my god, the amount of sheer musical wonderfulness to be found on band camp totally blows my tiny mind. AND IT'S ONLY $5! HOW COULD YOU NOT BUY THIS!?
