playing with paints for shits and giggles. i really want to try and get back into acrylics. we used to have such fun but then i totally dumped them because i no longer had the time to do RIDICULOUSLY RENDERED PAINTINGS THAT TOOK 90000000 HOURS. i picked them up again last term though and we've been on again off again ever since. things are a little more casual this time around-

while pimping out the shiny macbool i had haemorrhaged a gout of cash on coral painter. OH MY GOD. HOW CAN SOMETHING SO INTANGIBLE COST SO MUCH!?!?!?

but i think it might have been worth it. holy fuck, this thing runs rings round open canvas. it's ridiculous how much more organic working in it feels.

this was just a dry run. i think it may have come from spending too much time in the tube surrounded by posters for that circ de solie show and the _shit tone_ of avatar marketing. huzzar for blue people!
